ABOUT THIS TOOL

About the Image Cropper

The HandyTools Image Cropper cuts a picture down to exactly the area you need. After you choose an image, enter the starting position (X and Y offset) and the width and height of the crop in pixels, then download the result as a PNG.

Working in exact pixels is useful when a form, marketplace or design needs a specific size. The image is cropped in your browser and is not uploaded by this tool.

Tips for best results

  • The crop area must fit inside the image. The tool shows the image's width and height once it loads.
  • The offset is measured from the top-left corner; an X and Y of 0 starts at the corner.
  • To change an image's overall size instead of cutting it, use the Image Resizer.
